Painting on a bit of a larger scale!

I was asked by my lovely friend Elaine who owns Elaine Rawlings Bridal Boutique here in Princes House Truro, if I could paint some pf my signature booms on a large scale on her boutique wall. Never one to say no to a challenge I agreed! It took a little while to get my head around working on such a large project but after drawing the design out to scale and working up some large templates the job didn’t seem quite as daunting! Preparation is definitely key when working on something this big!

It was really enjoyable to let myself go with large paintbrushes! I used Little Greene paints which covered beautifully even on the dark charcoal background!
